Hi Karen, Glad to hear you enjoyed our blog. Since we are limited on space, we only have two litter boxes for the five cats. We clean them twice a day sometimes more if needed. One box is in our bathroom cabinet under the sink. Dan took out the shelf and one side door. The other box sits under the steering wheel on the left side for more privacy. We vacuum often during the day to keep the cat litter and hair under control. Small place so vacuuming doesn’t take long. We try to keep them entertained with two bird feeders near the windows. We can take four of our cats outside for a walk on a leash. They like to explore the new campgrounds. The fifth one has never liked being outdoors and is content to stay indoors. The biggest challenge is the two feeding times. They all gather under our feet and want their food at once. It becomes a musical food dish shuffle until everyone has a dish. What surprised us is how well they get along. We thought they would fight more in such closed quarters, but they often stay in the same area together. We can usually find four of the five cats either in the living area or on the bed sleeping together. Sandy
And a Happy Thanksgiving to you & Ms Pat from the soggy west coast of Washington! And our cats send a warm Hello to Ms Megabyte2! How's the weather in Texas?
Looks like you guys had a great Thanksgiving. And did you give the kittys something extra special? We're in Florida and the weather was perfect yesterday. But it's cold tonight. On with the heat!
Hi Jim and Sandie, Florida sounds great right now. Maybe next year, we will go south for the winter. We have been having 4-cat nights. Not too cold for 5-cats just yet. You bet! The kittys had a little turkey each with gravy. Yum!Sandy
Thanks for leaving a comment. We love hearing from you. Sorry ~ we are no longer accepting Anonymous because of all the Spam we have been receiving lately.
Just found your site. I noticed the title and was intrigued by number of cats you travel with.
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in how you manage with that many, kitty pans, etc.
Enjoyed the site.
